In 2016, Vitamix released the Vitamix 750 Heritage as the upgraded version of the Vitamix 750 Pro. And now you can confuse which blender should you choose between Vitamix 750 Heritage vs 750 Pro, right?

For a quick answer: I recommend you choose the Vitamix 750 Heritage. This upgraded version will give you a quieter motor, a more durable design, and an upgraded container.

Hopefully, after reading the differences, and similarities I mention below, you can see why Vitamix Heritage would be an excellent choice.

Vitamix 750 Heritage vs 750 Pro: Differences

Vitamix 750 Heritage has won 3-0 in this comparison match. It is easy to understand as Heritage is the upgraded version of Pro. This upgraded version will have a quieter motor, a more durable design, and an upgraded container.

1. Noise Level

The winner: Vitamix 750 Heritage

Vitamix 750 Heritage and 750 Pro have the same 2.2 HP motor power. You can worry that this high power can create a very loud noise when blending, right? That’s the truth. It is unrealistic to expect complete silence from them.

But, when it comes to comparing the noise level of these two blenders, the Vitamix 750 Heritage is much quieter as it has sound dampening technology. The brand has advertised about this, but I didn’t believe it until I started using both.

2. Design and Materials

The winner: Vitamix 750 Heritage

At the first glance, I can not see any differences in their appearances. Yes, they look almost the same. But the truth is, they are a little different.

The first difference is in the finish. The 750 Pro has a brushed stainless finish, but the upper shell of the 750 Pro is made of plastic with a thin metallic coating. Many users reported that this coat could be easily scratched or scuffed after a while. You need to notice this problem.

These new Heritage models are constructed of solid metal, which is more durable, not easy to be scratched. There is also another advantage to a metal coat as the motor is muffled more than it would be with a plastic coat, making the Vitamix 740 Heritage a bit quieter.

Another minor difference between Heritage and Classic models is about backlights. The Vitamix 75p Heritage has fewer backlights. While the Heritage models only have backlights the indicators above the pulse and start-stop switches, the 750 Pro has backlights around the entire control area, including the central knob as well.

The difference is only in material.  It does not affect functional longevity. You need to know, the plastic used on the Vitamix blender is also extremely durable. So you can choose what blender you prefer. But for me, I will choose the Vitamix 750 Heritage as it looks more elegant and will stay unblemished for longer.

3. Container

The winner: Vitamix 750 Heritage

The Vitamix 750 Pro and Vitamix 750 Heritage both come with a BPA-free plastic container. The container capacity is 64-oz that suitable for blending the large batches, blending for the whole family or party. Furthermore, the container is dishwasher safe for effortless cleaning.

However, the Vitamix 750 Heritage container has been upgraded to the Pro version. The upgraded container contains a safer seal, which makes it safer when using.

Vitamix 750 Heritage vs 750 Pro: Similarities

Blending Power

They share the same 2.2 horsepower motor. This power can handle anything you throw in it. Indeed, I have no trouble crushing harsh ingredients like ice cubes, a whole chunk of apple.

One thing that users are concerned about when using high-power blenders is overheating. But you won’t have to face this problem when using these two blenders because their motors contain a cooling fan and thermal protection. If your blender is overheated, this system will stop your blender automatically. This feature ensures your blender lasts longer.

Speed Control and Pulse Mode

Both Vitamix 750 Heritage and Pro have 10 variable speed levels and a pulse mode. You can achieve a variety of textures by adjusting the speed level, even during the blender in use.

When you want to chop ingredients you can use the pulse mode to create a quick short burst

Pre-programmed Settings

With the pre-programmed settings, Vitamix blenders are convenient to use just by pressing a button and you can walk away to do anything else. They’ll produce the right consistency, that is a guarantee.

5 presets on Vitamix Pro 750 and Vitamix 750 Heritage are Smoothies, Frozen Desserts, Hot Soup, Puree and self-cleaning that will make blending job easier

Vitamix 750 Heritage and Vitamix 750 Pro both have five presets that are smoothies, puree, frozen desserts, hot soups, and self-cleaning. Trust me! These presets will make your blending job is a breeze.

Cleaning

Both Vitamix 750 Heritage and Vitamix 750 Pro feature self-cleaning features, making cleaning a breeze. Fill halfway container with warm water and add some drops of dish soap and use the self-cleaning presets or you can adjust the dial speed to the highest and run the blender for 60 seconds. Rinse again, let it dry and it is ready for storage

Warranty

You can expect Vitamix blenders to last for many years since they are made from high-quality materials. Both of these blenders come with a full Vitamix warranty for 7 years. If cared for and maintained properly, they will last for more than 10 years.
