I get commissions for purchases made through links in this post. Read more

Vitamix has introduced varied series for users to select which blender is the most perfect for their needs. Every series has its own advantages, and the newer products are better than their older ones. Because of this reason, I was surprised that the Classic series is still loved and well-liked among others that are younger and have many new modern updates for ease to use. Comparing a young and old series, such as Ascent and Classic, with Vitamix A2300 vs 6500 as a representation, which will gain the advantage?

As a reviewer who has used both products for a thorough evaluation, I attribute a high rating to the Vitamix A2300. Asides from the adequate motor base, which can blend everything, such as fruits, vegetables, or ice  smooth, it also has advanced features that allow users to handle tasks without wasting time and energy. These features include the Self-detect Technology for Container, Digital Timer, and Wireless Connection. The stainless parts are also an additional good point, making the motor runs calmly and lessening the danger of injuring your fingers while cleaning. Last but not least, the ten-year warranty of Vitamix A2300 makes it become completely worth money blender.

Vitamix 6500 proves more adaptable and versatile for home use than the other popular Class model like Vitamix 5200. This machine has ten variable controls and three preset programs, which Vitamix A2300 does not have. This function is a big improvement, and with a 2.2 motor base combined 4-inches diameter blade, I’m sure this is truly a good pick for the one who likes the simple.

Vitamix A2300 Vs 6500: Differences

Vitamix A2300 and Vitamix 6500 have such strong motors, and no material can beat them at blending. The most realized differences between them are the updated functions that only Vitamix 6500 has.

Controls / Settings

The winner: Vitamix A2300

Not hard to release that Vitamix A2300 offers the most advantages due to its features that bring users both new experiences and modern apps. Yes, Vitamix A2300 is a new experience when compared with the Vitamix 6500. At the same time, though, I’m happy with the three preset programs on the Vitamix 6500. They’re so great. I just need to select the mode, and the blender will do the rest.

First, let’s take a look at what makes Vitamix A2300 different.

+Digital Timer:

A2300 Digital Timer
A2300 Digital Timer

The A2300 has this feature that makes everything more convenient and easier. It starts automatically when you turn it on, so you just need to set the speed and let it run. This helps me a lot and lessens me from over-processing problems. Get some oat milk, bananas, and strawberry into the jar, then blend and let Digital Timer do its task. When everything is complete at a perfect smooth I want, remembering this blending time is a piece of cake job.

+Self-detect Technology:

May the 64-ounce jar be such a problem when it takes up so much space and is too large for a small or medium batch. I’ve heard lots of similar complaints from my neighbors who bought this large jar for their family but had to serve a smaller meal due to unforeseen circumstances. Were you forced to deal with this situation? If you answered “yes,” this Vitamix A2300 function is for you. Because of this technology, the machine can detect which container is on the bottom and adjust the blend settings accordingly. Simply buy an extra container and leave everything for this blender.

+Preset Program:

This function makes Vitamix 6500 a special blender among other Classic blenders and also unique when considering Vitamix A2300. Three blending programs allow you to blend three specific textures at the turn of a speed dial: Smoothie, Hot Soup, and Frozen Dessert. Such a pain to adjust time and speed? Be happy, because it isn’t a hard problem anymore. The three automatic programs for these recipes are common, so there is no need to hesitate if you just want a standard blender.

Utilities

The winner: Vitamix A2300

Again, Vitamix A2300 takes a higher place in my heart. After judging thoughtfully, here are the reason why for this opinion.

+Container:

As you may know, BPA-free co-polyester is professional-grade and extremely strong. The container of the Vitamix A2300 is made of BPA-free co-polyester, making the high impact function is more reliable.

The Vitamix 6500 has a thick plastic container as clear as glass. It’s very heavy, but it’s also solid because it’s shatterproof. I was delighted the first time I touched it. Furthermore, BPA material can prevent cancer-promoting chemicals when exposed to different temperatures. This material is an excellent choice for long-term applications and an active lifestyle.

+Noise Level:

Vitamix A2300 is recognized as a calm motor base, and it seems not a lie. When I purchase blenders and try to make my dessert one by one, I can say that it doesn’t create scary noise like other Vitamix blenders. Thanks to its stainless parts, the sound isn’t as high as it makes you tired, and at the rate that I can accept.

About this feature, Vitamix 6500 is a louder one, and its noise can make users feel uncomfortable.

+Wireless Connectivity with Vitamix Perfect Blend AppUnlock:

Only Vitamix A2300 has this feature and can connect to your smartphone via Bluetooth. With the app and smart kitchen scales, you can create recipes based on the weight of your ingredients. Yes, such an interesting function, right?

+Warranty:

In this comparison, I prefer Vitamix A2300. It is superior in terms of utilities because it has a longer warranty. Its parts are guaranteed for ten years, making the extra cost I must pay worthwhile. I have nothing to complain about because the warranty on this blender is three years longer than the warranty on the Vitamix 6500.

Vitamix A2300 Vs 6500: Similarities

Power

There is no major flaw that can be found to criticize Vitamix’s power. The powerful motor base and the stylish design of Vitamix are some of the reasons why I adore their products. Along my kitchen time, no low-quality parts or cheap plastic will be used in Viamix’s blenders, including these two. For greater efficiency, both the Vitamix A2300 and Vitamix 6500 have a 2.2 horsepower motor base and a 4-inch blade. Any fruits or vegetables can be blended in less than a minute. Their motor bases can even work with butter, dough, or ice without fail.

Ten variable controls

A variable speed 10 allows you to select your own speed, saving you time and effort by changing the speed, depending on how much time and consistency you need.
