If you want to make foods rich in nutrients, high in protein, or puree. Let’s choose one of the two blender products Vitamix 750 vs 5300. Keep reading it!

Vitamix 750 and 5300 are blenders from the same brand, you will be a bit confused because these two machines are highly rated by users. Both machines have features like grind, mix, puree, crush, and more.

But out of these 2 blenders, which one is better?

The Vitamix 750 blender is not just for using in the kitchen, it is also the ultimate choice of professional chefs, which means that with its 64-ounce capacity, it can be easily adjusted to speed to get a variety of textures.

The blender Vitamix 5300 is an older version of the 750, so its functions are not enhanced as of the 750 version.

However, both devices have things in common such as 64-ounce containers, 2.2-horsepower motors, and a lot of speed adjustment settings designed for the machine.

Vitamix 750 vs 5300 – Differences

After a period of review and evaluation, we consider the blender version 750 will win with an overall score of 3 – 0 over the version 5300. The reason for the win is because this version is more user-friendly and has 5 pre-programmed settings that allow the user to make anything from soup, ice cream, to even smoothies.

Blending Performance

The Winner: Vitamix 750

+Carafe Material

The Vitamix 750’s carafe material is made up of BPA-free Tritan. This is plastic derived from nature and is rated as the safest of all plastics.

First, Tritan plastic does not contain BPA, so it is safe for users. Besides, it also has a good heat resistance so you can grind whatever food you want, thanks to its good heat resistance, you do not need to wait a while for the food to cool before you put it in the blender.

In contrast, for the 5300 version, although it is made from standard plastic, it can not be as good as Tritan plastic because it is not resistant to high heat and even retains odors when grinding.

Hence, this will cause you a bit of inconvenience because you have to wait for the food to cool before grinding it.

+Blade Material

Vitamix 5300: Blade

Most of Vitamix’s blade material is designed from stainless steel so it is extremely resistant to corrosion, therefore the 5300 blender is no exception.

Although it is designed from stainless steel, the cutting quality is not good because it is not capable of cutting hard foods.

The Vitamix 750 blender, on the other hand, is also designed in stainless steel but more specifically, it has been added with an aircraft-grade blade to handle the toughest ingredients.

Therefore, from the first blend to the last, you will get the same cut quality.

Cleaning & Maintenance

The Winner: Vitamix 750

+Size

The dimensions of the Vitamix 5300 are 7.25 x 8.75 x 17.25 inches, and the 750’s dimensions are 8.5 x. 17.25 x 8.5 inches, which means that the size of the Vitamix 750 is larger than the 5300 even though both have the same 64-ounce container.

The fact that the size has been designed makes these blender versions more convenient to use when placed in the kitchen. For example, 5300 has a smaller size, so it is very suitable for kitchen corners with narrow space, not taking up space for other objects in the kitchen.

In contrast, the size of the 750 is larger than the 5300, but it does not take up space in the kitchen. This appliance is fit for all types of kitchens, from small to large spaces in the kitchen.

With  my personal experience using this product, it is quite similar to what the manufacturer has said. This size does not take up too much space in your kitchen.

Many people say that the size is too big, too inconvenient for cooking. But for me, such a size is too reasonable, it clearly does not interfere with the cooking process at all.

Utilities

The Winner: Vitamix 750

+Pre-programmed settings

The two versions of the device have the same function, both have 10 variable speeds, but with the upgraded version compared to the 5300, the 750 has 5 pre-programmed settings, which bring a lot of benefits for the blender.

These preset functions ensure pureeing of food, especially smoothies and soups.

This will help you have a great experience when enjoying the dishes made from this blender.

The Vitamix 5300 blender, on the other hand, has no preset features. This can be a slight disadvantage for users when they intend to buy it.

Vitamix 750 vs 5300 – Similarities

Since 750 is an upgraded version of the 5300, it is natural to have many similar features such as 4-inch blade size, 10 variable speed settings, and a Pulse button. Which allows the blender to puree food quickly, adjusting the rotation speed is extremely easy and the Pulse button will support your rotation speed to be extremely smooth.

Besides, they come with a 2.2 HP motor, which will make the machine run more efficiently, and a 7-year warranty will give you a peace of mind to use without worrying about any problems during use.

They also come with additional features such as a cooling fan, self-cleaning function, and a power switch. These features will help cool the blender and not create a rattling sound during its operation.

Moreover, the maintenance and cleaning of the machine are also quite simple because the parts are easy to assemble and disassemble.
