I get commissions for purchases made through links in this post. Read more

If you are wondering which is the best product between the Vitamix 750 vs A2500, I strongly recommend Vitamix A2500.

Vitamix 750 vs A2500 are two products that are highly appreciated by consumers because of its extremely preeminent features.

The product Vitamix 750 is the top choice blender on the market since its speed adjustment feature is extremely easy for users.

Vitamix A2500 is the latest version of the 750. It is a device designed with more advanced and modern technical features. Therefore, the A2500 will have features that the 750 does not have.

However, the two products above still have similarities such as the 2.2 horsepower motor, BPA-free plastic containers, blending presets, and industry-leading warranties. Besides, both devices have a rotary knob that allows you to adjust the rotation speed.

Vitamix 750 vs A2500 – Differences

When looking at the two products between the 750 and A2500, it is clear that there is a marked difference. It seems that the A2500 has the upper hand over the 750 because of its convenient features. It also comes packed with ultra-modern features like Bluetooth-enabled built-in, presentation mode that lets you unlock 17 preset blend modes and over 600 recipes. But the professional 750 series does not have this feature.

Blending Performance

The Winner: Vitamix A2500 Ascent Series Smart Blender

+Carafe Material

The Vitamix A2500 Ascent Series Smart Blender is made of plastic material but more specifically, it is co-polyester plastic. This is a type of plastic with high superiority, which means it is highly heat resistant, durable, and resistant to the harsh environment. Hence, it is extremely safe for customers.

You can grind any food because of its high heat resistance. Besides, you do not need to cool the food because the inner container is made from extremely good plastic today.

In contrast, the 750 version is made from BPA-free plastic. This is also a plastic suitable for food, it also has properties such as good heat resistance, durability. Although it is a standard plastic material, it will cause harm to the human body, especially cancer (According to the report of the European Chemicals Agency in 2017).

Besides cancer, it also causes several other diseases such as early puberty, Down syndrome, low sperm count, breast cancer, prostate cancer, and many others. So, it is best to limit the use of household appliances that have these BPA-free plastic materials.

According to my personal experience, I would choose a material that is safe for me and my family, A2500 is my final choice.

+Blade Material

You can rest assured that the blade design of Vitamix A2500 is made of stainless steel so it is very resistant to corrosion. I bet the blade’s design material won’t let you down.

With the 750 version, we will see it is designed with aircraft-grade stainless steel. Compared to the A2500, its blade is slightly better. But that’s not the case!

Although the blade of A2500 is only designed with stainless steel, I guarantee that it will cut fine from the first time to the last.

Some fastidious customers find it is difficult to clean the bottom of the blade.

Others consider that because the jug is so large, the blade runs in a vacuum. They have to move the food in the jug because it falls to the bottom of the blade. So, they have to start and stop the blender a dozen times.

Overall, the blending performance feature is also very good compared to other blender brands.

Cleaning & Maintenance

The Winner: Vitamix A2500 Ascent Series Smart Blender

+Size

With the size as you have seen in the information section, it is clear that the size of the A2500 version is larger than the 750 because the length and height of the A2500 are 8.5 inches and 2.5 inches longer than the 750. Although the width is smaller, that’s not the point.

The size of the Vitamix A2500 is designed to be very convenient when placing it in the kitchen. With a length and width of 17 and 8 inches respectively, it is very suitable for placing in a kitchen without having to worry about it taking up space.

The Vitamix 750, on the other hand, is smaller than the A2500 version, this means that despite its small size, the 750 version is not very convenient to put in the kitchen.

Personally, I think that the size of the 750 version will take up a lot of space compared to the A2500 when placing it in the kitchen because its width is up to 17.25 inches.

+Cord Length

The cord length of the Vitamix 750 is 6 feet and that of the A2500 is 4 feet, which means the length of the 750 version is 2 feet longer than the A2500.

Therefore, the cord length of the 750 is longer, so it is more convenient to use, for example, you do not need to place it near the electrical panel.

In contrast, the cord length of the A2500 is only 4 feet, neither short nor long, so it is a bit inconvenient to use. But that’s not the point!

In my opinion, I consider that although the cord length of the A2500 is shorter than that of the 750, that length is perfect for users.

+Digital Timer

The A2500 version comes with a built-in technical timer, which helps you to know its completion time. This function is very easy to use, you just need to add the ingredients to the blender, then set the time and press the preset button or speed volume.

Besides, the blender also prepares the recipe for you in the meantime. The Vitamix 750, on the other hand, does not have that function. This is a very disadvantageous thing for users.

In my point of view, I will prefer buying A2500 to 750 because I think that function does not make you guess how long the ingredients will be.

+Pre-Programmed Settings

In terms of preset settings, version 750 will be better since it contains up to 5 programs while A2500 only has 3 programs.

They (Vitamix A2500) are divided into 2 parts for hot soup and smoothies, the other for frozen dessert programs on the knob. But the Vitamix 750 has puree and self-cleaning features that the A2500 does not have.

However, you can puree and start a cleaning cycle on the A2500 using the highest speed pulse or volume buttons. Although the A2500 has only 3 preset settings, it is a bit better than the 750. because of its ease of use when using this product. Therefore, If I have a choice, I still prioritize the A2500 blender.

+Warranty

If you care about the warranty then A2500 should be your choice. Here is my advice for you since you will get a full 10-year warranty.

The 750, by contrast, only gives you the standard 7-year warranty, but you will have to pay for two-way costs covering any manufacturer issues.

If I have to choose which product I will buy, the A2500 is still my choice since its warranty period is up to 10 years without paying any fees when fixing.

All in all, both versions are designed from high-quality materials to last a decade without major problems.

+App Connectivity

The feature that the 750 version does not have is the Bluetooth connection feature via the app. You can use this app on your smartphone or iPad.

Using this app is very easy, you just need to connect to the blender via bluetooth.

This app supports users with a lot of features such as 17 blending modes and more than 600 recipes. Especially the food mixing timer feature, which makes me very satisfied when using it.

This is a one-of-a-kind feature of the current Vitamix A2500 Ascent Series that I have ever used.

Vitamix 750 vs A2500 – Similarities

Although there are differences in features, these 2 versions still have some similarities with each other such as the powerful 2.2 horsepower motor, 10 variable speeds, 4-inch blade size.

These functions help the machine work better, cut food finer, and 10 variable speeds make it easy to adjust the blender speed.

Besides, they also have the same container size. Moreover, the Pulse button also helps your machine to be smooth when blending.

In addition to the above similarities, the device also has other extra features like  a cooling fan, dishwasher-safe, power switch. These features help cool the blender and make no noise when grinding.
