As for the Vitamix Pro 750, this product comes with many features like self-cleaning, and three program settings.

Vitamix Pro 500 Vs 750 – Differences

When I compared these two versions, I discovered a few differences between these two product lines. Upon further research, it is clear that the Pro 750 has a distinct advantage over the Pro 500 in terms of features.

Blending performance

The winner: Vitamix Professional Series 750

Vitamix Pro 750: Blending Performance
Vitamix Pro 750: Blending Performance

+Power rating

Looking at the comparison table above, you can see that the horsepower index of the Vitamix Pro 750 and 500 has a difference.

The Pro 750 version has a 2.2 horsepower motor, and the Pro 500 device has a 2.0 horsepower motor. This means the Pro 750’s horsepower motor will make it smoother, more productive, and more efficient.

On the other hand, the performance level of the Pro 500 will be less efficient than the Pro 750 due to its lower horsepower index. The device also runs sluggishly and inefficiently compared to the 750 version.

According to my usage, the Pro 750 has a slight edge over the Pro 500 in terms of its internal device.

+Blade size

The Pro 750 blade size is why the device is slightly better than the Pro 500.

In terms of size, the 750’s height is 1 inch larger than the 500’s, which means that the 750’s blade will be sharper, allowing it to cut food finer, more evenly, and without missing any pieces.

Pro 750’s blade size has never let me down, only better quality.

Controls

The winner: Vitamix Professional Series 750

+Pre-programmed settings

You can easily see that between the Pro 500 and Pro 750, there is a difference in the features installed on the device.

For the Pro 750, manufacturers have set up a set of five pre-programmed settings, which include features such as Smoothies, Hot Soups, Frozen Desserts, Purees, and Self-Cleaning. These features make it easy for consumers to choose the functionality they want.

The Pro 500, on the other hand, has three pre-programmed settings, so the selection has been reduced. Smoothies, hot soups, and frozen desserts are among the Pro 500.

The preset setting features of the Pro 500 are less than the 750 version. Therefore, I will not hesitate to choose Pro 750 instead of Pro 500.

Cleaning & Maintenance

The winner: Vitamix Professional Series 750

+Size

Vitamix Pro 750: Size
Vitamix Pro 750: Size

Looking at the dimensions of these two versions, you could know that Vitamix Pro 500 is larger than the Pro 750.

The Pro 500 is 20.5 x 8.75 x 7.25 inches, and the Pro 750 is 8.5 x 8.5 x 17.25 inches, which means that with such dimensions, Pro 750 is very convenient for users and does not take up in your kitchen space because of its compactness and lightness.

Additionally, Pro 750 is exceptionally convenient to store in a cupboard because of its size.

Alternatively, with its large size, Pro 500 may be hard to store or move around because of its bulkiness.

+Dishwasher-safe

A dishwasher-safe function is another feature that makes it easier for consumers to choose the Pro 750.

Dishwasher-safe means it can go in the dishwasher without a problem. That way, you won’t have to clean it manually anymore. That’s convenient.

Since the Pro 500 does not support this feature, it is detrimental to consumers.

When I once went to a store to choose between these two blenders, I bought the A2300 because it has this feature, while the 750 did not.

Utilities

The winner: Vitamix Professional Series 500

+Thermal sensor

Vitamix Pro 500: Utilities
Vitamix Pro 500: Utilities

While the Pro 750 has the dominant features over the Pro 500, I can’t deny that the Pro 500 has a thermal sensor, which is a seemingly new feature compared to recent Vitamix models.

In the course of operation, the blender’s thermal sensor will determine when the device is at its warmest. During overheating, this feature automatically lowers the rotational speed of the machine to reduce the engine’s internal temperature.

Vitamix Pro 500 Vs 750 – Similarities

When comparing two products, if there are differences, they will have similarities in terms of features and internal structure, of course.

In terms of internal structure, they will have analogies such as having the same container size. In addition, these two devices have the same cooling fan feature, which helps the machine cool down when operating beyond its capacity.

Besides, they also own a self-cleaning function, making it easy for users to use when washing it. Moreover, they also have ten variable speeds, which helps it easy for users to adjust the blender.
