You begin searching for some information about the premium blender and finally determine a few. Vitamix, which receives a huge amount of recommendations, seems to be a trusted brand. And a huge amount of products for sure. Among these, Vitamix 5200 vs 750 are the most stand-out blender. At this moment, you’re lost again. Which one is the suitest blender?

Oh, let’s return to the cause of this problem. A lower-price blender can’t make you feel enough anymore. You want to give your relatives and your beloved more love by making new dedicates that used to appear on the TV or new smoothies that are created by a famous Youtuber. But your ideal dishes or colorful dessert can’t be true because your old blender lacks some special function. More badly, it’s too noisy just by the time you turn on the start button.

Yes, it’s totally based on my reliable story, and other housewives or cooking-lovers. All of them are my friends or my acquaintances. Do you find yourself here? If your answer is “yes”, I truly sympathize with you. At last, I found my efficient assistant, Vitamix 750. It’s really a helpful and powerful blender with both program speed and variable speed and a large motor. Thanks to these features, making smoothies, pureeing, and grinding isn’t so hard. But Vitamix 5200 is also a must-have product, too. Though it has been more than twenty-year since the first time Vitamix 5200 came out, this blender is still a best-selling product for cooking work.

Let’s find out what makes Vitamix 750 special, and the reason why Vitamix 5200 is still a right-hand tool for many people.

Vitamix 5200 vs 750: Difference

The Vitamix 750 wins 3-1 against 5200. Although Vitamix 750 has more extra and innovative features, Vitamix 5200 still is a right-hand blender thanks to its worthy price and having enough function for basic cooking works. It’s quite cheaper than Vitamix 750. This advance really makes me satisfied.

Blending Performance

The winner: Vitamix 750

Motor:

You may be aware that higher-powered motors can improve the efficiency of both food and beverage preparation. It’s very simple to compare just by looking at the texture and the outcome. The texture of my berry smoothie after using the Vitamix 750 is completely smooth and free of bubbles. Furthermore, if you use it frequently or have a thing for icy drinks, I highly recommend a powerful motor like the Vitamix 750. Making drinks or desserts with materials such as hard fruit, ice, or cookies is no longer difficult and takes too much time thanks to the powerful 2.2 horsepower within the relatively compact base unit.

The Vitamix 5200 also performs admirably with its 2.0 horsepower. Some of my professional chef friends advised me to use at least 1.0 horsepower for ice. Because the Vitamix 5200 has 2.0, I don’t have to think too hard.

Blade Size:

Vitamix 750 blade size

Larger blades are better suited to the task of crushing ice or hard materials. And the Vitamix 750, with its 4 inches diameter blade, is ideal for this type of work, while the Vitamix 5200 has a 3 inches blade. Because both containers are the same size – 64 ounces – the blending result is easier to compare. When combined with its powerful motor, the Vitamix 750 is far more versatile than the Vitamix 5200.

Don’t be concerned. The blade on the Vitamix 5200 is still adequate for basic tasks. The blade size of most blenders is the same as that of the Vitamix 5200.

Testing The Blending Abilities:

With the two salient features, it’s not hard to realize the blending result of Vitamix 750 is far better than Vitamix 5200. Testing for smoothies and ice reveals that the amount of unblended food caught in the sieve with apple smoothies is extremely small. There is no unblended food available for the green smoothie test. That sounds great! In the apple smoothies test, the Vitamix 5200 cannot achieve the same results as the Vitamix 750 because more unblended food is left in the sieve.

The grinding test demonstrates that the advance is also a bit for the Vitamix 750. I used cornflour to judge this ability. When sifting the completed grinding flour, it is much lighter than grinding flour made by Vitamix 5200 and is easier to mix into other ingredients when making batters and doughs.

Control / Setting

The winner: Vitamix 750

This is a very clever feature that I noticed the first time my friends told me about this product. And it does not frustrate me in the least! Many office-related tasks are weighing heavily on your shoulders, and you’re at a loss for how to deal with them. Or are you unsure how to control the speed when making milkshakes or smoothies? Allow the Vitamix 750’s preset program to handle everything for you. These blending modes handle a variety of blending functions, including smoothies, frozen desserts, soups, and purees. It also has a Pulse setting for even more powerful blending. Simply holding down the pulse sends 50% more power to the blades. Isn’t it wonderful?

Furthermore, both the Vitamix 750 and the Vitamix 5200 have 10 variable speed settings as well as a Pulse feature, which corresponds to the variable setting you’ve selected via the pulse buttons. If you need to handle your cooking task on your own, this feature allows you to do so. After all, the Vitamix 750 is more convenient due to its automatic smart pre-program setting, so the winner is clearly to be aware.

Noise Level:

The winner: Vitamix 750

Again, Vitamix 750 became the winner. According to some information that I researched for a few days, Vitamix 750 is a newer model than Vitamix 5200. The first time Vitamix 5200 was introduced was in 2008, while Vitamix 750 was around 2012. Besides some updating features that I mentioned, I think the manufacturer has used better stainless parts on Vitamix 750. Let’s take a closer look! No plastic bits around the motor base or surrounding parts! Even some modern models that were born after a few years since the day Vitamix 750 first appeared can’t beat it. What does it mean? Yes, Vitamix 750 is quite quieter than Vitamix 5200.

As previously stated, the Vitamix 5200 is older than the Vitamix 750, which explains why it makes louder noises. If this isn’t an issue for you, the Vitamix 5200 is still a good choice.

Price

The winner: Vitamix 5200

While both are premium-grade blenders, Vitamix 5200 is cheaper with a price difference of around $100. It has strong features that stand out among other blenders that appeared around that time such as a powerful motor and self-cleaning function. Not only smoothie, milkshake, dough, nut butter, but also you can even make hot soup with this blender.

But in general, I’m not sure isn’t it is an advance. Anyway, the Vitamix 750 has a lot of powerful features, and my favorite is the pre-program setting. These smart features explain to me why its price is higher, so I have nothing to complain about.

Vitamix 5200 vs 750: Similarities

 Power

Except for the motor strength, both blenders have the same wattage and voltage. 500 watts-blender is generally enough for the typical blender workload, like making milkshakes and blending smoothies. Both have nearly three times stronger wattage than recommendations. And the needed voltage supply for the two products is 120 volts, which is the same as the American voltage standard.

Container

The 64-ounce container in two blenders is ideal for blending medium to large batches. This capacity can handle up to 8 cups of blended ingredients, and I could have fit two more servings in the pitcher without issue.

These blenders also have the same material for the container, BPA-free plastics, which are sturdy and solid. For any person who hesitates on using glass material because of its fragileness like me, BPA is a good choice to replace.

10 variable speed

10 variable speed allows you to be proactive in choosing your own speed, saving you time and effort by changing the speed depending on how much time and consistency you need. Or if you want to shorten the blending time as much as you can, just select the Pulse feature for the highest speed setting on top of the 10 variable speeds to break down thick ingredients quickly.

Self-cleaning mode

The self-cleaning mode on both blenders is a useful feature. This feature is also useful to me. Making dedications is a joy, especially if you do it with your loved one or friends. Cleaning, on the other hand, is a chore! Is there anyone else out there who feels like me?

So, simply adding warm water and a few drops of dish soap to the blender, selecting the cleaning mode, and waiting 30 seconds are such simple tasks. After that, all you have to do is sit back and watch or do other things because the self-cleaning mode can do its job quickly and effectively.
